Billiards in the Club

A popular game with the youth in the Club, the Billiard Fraternity is seeing greater participation than ever. Playing standards have been steadily increasing for Pool and the Fraternity has also successfully rekindled interest in Snooker. The Fraternity warmly welcomes pool and snooker enthusiasts to join in its leisure games and tournaments.

Temporary Billiards Arrangement (From 1 September 2009)

Arrangements have been made with Seletar Country Club (SCC) for all SGCC members during the period of the Billiards Room relocation. SGCC members will be able to use Seletar Country Club’s Billiards facility through the following booking procedures:


Bookings
a.    SGCC members can call directly to SCC Reception at 6481 4815 from 9.00am to 10.00pm to book a table up to one week in advance. Please state your name and SGCC membership number when you book.
b.    SGCC members may bring their guests.
c.    SCC Billiards Facility operating hours are from 10.00am to 9.00pm daily.


Rates
a.    Each table booking must be for two-hour slots. Each player will be charged $5.35 (inclusive of GST) for each two-hour slot. (eg. 2 players = $5.35 x 2 = $10.70 for 2 hrs of play)
b.    Extensions will be charged at $5.35 per player for subsequent two-hour slots.
c. The charges will be billed to the SGCC member’s individual account at the end of each month.   
d.     SGCC members must produce their SGCC membership card and sign in at the Main Reception.
e.    SGCC members are required to sign on the Billing Chits provided.


Terms & Conditions
a.    Only one table will be available daily for SGCC members.
b.    No booking is allowed during SCC team training days on Mondays and Fridays from 2.00pm to 6.00pm.
c.    Extensions of a maximum of two hours are allowed if a table is available.
d.    Bookings must be made in advance. No walk-ins will be allowed.
e.    All bookings must be made by phone and will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
f.     Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
g.    A $20.00 penalty will be imposed for cancellations less then 24 hours prior to booking or for no-shows.
