The Thunderbirds will be playing on Eve of Public Holiday,
Thursday, 9 September 2010 instead of DJ Jason Kai.

Minor
A&A Works at Main Clubhouse
|
|
Minor Additions & Alterations (A&A) will be carried
out at the Main Clubhouse from 8 September 2010 (Wednesday), to mid-November.
The A&A works are as follows:
1. Conversion of Board Room at Level
3 to offices
2. Extension of the Food & Beverage office at Level
1
3. Extension of the Membership office at Level 1
The works will
be carried out in stages to minimize inconvenience to members. All necessary
precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of members, their families and
guests.

Replacement
of Floor Tiles outside Tennis Court
|
|
The floor tiles outside the Tennis Court will be replaced
with new tiles. Renovation works will be in progress from 6 September 2010 to
mid-September 2010.

Youth
Inter-Club Bowling Mixed League 2010
|
|
After 24 weeks of intense competition, SGCC’s Youth
Bowling Team clinched the championship title for the 11th Youth Inter-Club
Bowling Mixed League 2010.
SGCC scored 44,659 pinfalls, with a margin
of 629 pinfalls ahead the Seletar Country Club who settled in second position
with 44,030 pinfalls. SGCC also achieved the Team High Game Scratch and Team
High Series Scratch Awards.

at the Sports Bar

There will no longer be a special youth time slot for Wii
gaming at the Sports Bar with immediate effect.

in Dance & Music Lounge Line-Up

The Dance & Music Lounge will be playing Chinese Hits on
Tuesdays with effect from 14 September 2010. There will be no live band
performance until further notice.

on Sundays from 3 – 6pm will not be available.

Pool
Closure
|
|
The pool will be closed on 12 September 2010, Sunday, 11am
– 6pm, to facilitate the Annual Inter-Club Swimming Meet.
The
pool will be closed on 29 September 2010, Wednesday, for cleaning and
maintenance. Fumigation will be carried out in the Club’s premises on the
same day.
