Club Closure for Annual Staff Dinner and Dance

The Club will be closed on Monday, 26 March 2012 for our Annual Staff Dinner and Dance.

Sunday Jamming Cancelled

Sunday Jamming at Dance & Music Lounge on 5 February 2012 is cancelled and will resume on the following Sunday, 12 February 2012.

Extended Billiard Room Operating Hours

The closing time for the Billiard Room has been extended by 1 hour. Operating hours will now be 1pm -11pm daily

Yam Cha Promotion

Yum Cha’s weekday dinner buffet is back on 13 February 2012, now with dim sum added to the menu. SGCC members are entitled to one person eating free with every 3 paying customers. Call 6343 1717 for more information

Cartoon Network in Kiddieland

The Cartoon Network is now available for viewing in Kiddieland. The remote control is available from our service staff at the Coffee Deli.

New Electronic Darts Board in the Sports Bar

We have recently installed two Electronic Darts Boards in the Sports Bar.

Revision of Guest Cover Charges for Dance and Music Lounge and Karaoke Lounge

In view of the increase in manpower and other operating costs, the General Committee has decided that with effect from November 2011, the guest cover charge at the Dance and Music Lounge and the Karaoke Lounge on Fridays, Saturdays and Eve of Public Holidays will be revised to $20 (previously $15) and will now include two (2) standard drinks (previously one (1) standard drink).

Membership Cards are not Transferrable

Please note that under clause 11 (b) of the Club’s Bye-Laws, membership cards are not transferrable and may only be used by the person whose name appears on the card. Allowing another person to use your card contravenes the bye-laws and is strictly not allowed.

Pool Closure

The Swimming Pool will be closed on every last Wednesday of the month for cleaning and maintenance. Fumigation will also be carried out on the premises. The following are the dates of pool closure:

- 29 February 2012
- 28 March 2012

The pool is also closed on Sunday, 26 February 2012 (9.30 am – 3.00 pm) and Sunday, 25 March 2012 (12.00 pm – 5.00 pm) to facilitate the Novice Intermediate Swim Meet and Water Carnival respectively.
